           Without a doubt, the funniest romantic comedy ever made was There’s Something About Mary. This movie completely stole the limelight from every other romantic comedy out there, as far as hilarity is concerned. There’s Something About Mary really showcased the talents of those involved and created a following that is still strong today.

          The cast of There’s Something About Mary was outstanding. Cameron Diaz played the lead female role and she was right on the money. Her comedic talents were really showcased and she shined as the star. Ben Stiller was also absolutely hilarious in his lead male role. His comedic timing is out of this world. The supporting roles played by Matt Dillon and Lee Evans really brought the whole thing home. These actors and actresses involved in the film are just amazing comedians that really showcased their talents in this Farrelly brothers film.

Script
          The script and story line of There’s Something About Mary was wonderful as well. It is quite a normal thing for someone to seek out an old crush they went to high school with. However, when it is Ben Stiller seeking Cameron Diaz out, there are jokes to come. All in all, the script keeps you laughing and entertained the entire time. In addition, the fun cameos are interesting as well. The writing was great but the actors and actresses likely improvised some as well, meaning that they created the script through their improvising. There’s Something About Mary is a classic comedy that will forever be remembered.
