Perfect Man :
The ladies in the cast of Perfect Man were wise when they chose to be a part of this lovely romantic comedy. At first glance, Perfect Man seems like the perfect “chick flick”. That assumption is fairly correct in fact. The movie has a female influence all the way through. However, it is not to say that men won’t enjoy the movie as well. But, they will need to be slightly romantic and have an open mind for corny banter if they want to give it a try. Most men would find the movie too full of females and would run the other way however. Those who do attempt sitting through it would likely roll their eyes at least fifty times from beginning to end of the film.
But, even though men might not enjoy Perfect Man, women and girls everywhere will love it! It is a very romantic story about a woman who is desperate not to spend her life alone. She is flawed in many ways and drags her two daughters around the world after the heartbreaks she experiences. The story also captures the essence of single motherhood and how it affects the children who are the products of it. There is a lot to be learned about parenting in this film as well.
The cast is pretty great in the film, although Heather Locklear was an unusual choice. Hilary Duff does an amazing job, as does Chris Noth. The list of supporting actors and actresses is impressive as well and they all equally did fantastic. However, Locklear was a little hard to believe in this role. It looked like she was acting, which is never a good thing. Is she really that fake in real life, or was she just trying too hard? Thank goodness everyone else was there to save the day!
