New And Up Coming Action Movies

Movie fans are constantly waiting for new and upcoming movies of their favorite stars so that they can catch the first show at a cinema theater. The two action movies due for release are G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra and Inglourious Basterds.

G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra:
This movie is directed and produced by Stephen Sommers. However, there are some other producers and they include David Womark, and Gary Barber. The movie has a star studded cast with actors like Dennis Quaid, Channing Tatum, Sienna Miller, Ray Park and Rachel Nichols.

The elite international team of G.I. Joe is joined by the two specially trained military operative Duke and Ripcord and this team works and uses the latest ultra-high technology equipment and does not believe in accepting failure. They are now after an organization dealing in arms, Destro, and they learn about the new organization called Cobra.

The director of this movie Stephen Sommers is known by his movies Mummy and Mummy Returns and this movie is ready for release on August 7, 2009.

Inglourious Basterds:
Starring Brad Pitt, Eli Roth, BJ Novak, Mike Myers, Michale Fassbender, and Samm Levine, this movie is directed by Quentin Tarantino. It is considered to be eleventh most popular movie and is being released on 21 August 2009. 

Two different stories are woven together in this World War II epic which is violent and also stylish. A Jewish girl, after seeing the brutal death of her family at the hands of Hans Landa, the Nazi Colonel, escapes to Paris. She becomes the owner of a movie theater there and she plans her revenge. In order to demoralize the Riech, one Lt. Aldo Raine leads Jewish-American group of misfit soldiers to undertake a shock and awe campaign.
 

The director Quentin Tarantino claims this is to be his masterpiece and is one of the best writings he has done.
