Comedy Movies About Motorcycles

One of the comedy movies about motorcycles is Wild Hogs. This movie was released in United States on 2 March 2007 and has become a little bit of a cult movie for many motorcycle buffs. The star cast of this movie included John Travolta, Martin Lawrence, Tim Allen and William H Macy.

This movie is a story of four friends, Doug Madsen, Dudley Frank, Woody Stevens and Bobby Davis, who used to love riding together on their motorcycles right from the college days. Out of these four friends Doug is a dentist who cannot reach out to his son, Woody was a rich businessman who is broke and alone, Bobby is a plumber troubled by his wife and daughters and lastly the only bachelor in the group is Dudley, who is a computer geek and out to find a girl for himself.

These friends are frustrated with their individual, personal lives. Hence, they decide to go on a cross country ride on their bikes. During this cross country ride, they come across the actual biker gang called the Del Fuegos. A series of events take place during this cross country trip. These events are totally hilarious and make up the comedy in the movie.

Though this is a movie about motorcycles, it can be enjoyed along with the whole family. Initially this movie had received a lot of negative reviews, but despite that the film had gross revenue of $39.6 million dollars in the opening weekend. This gave it a first place in the box office sales. On account of this success, a sequel to Wild Hogs is also being planned and is due for release in 2010.
