Movie Reviews Of The Disney Movie Return To Witch Mountain

Escape to Witch Mountain hitting the box office so highly induced the director to come up with a sequel as in Return from Witch Mountain of Disney's in 1978. Being a sequel as it is, Return from Witch Mountain is more attached to its earlier version, Escape to Witch Mountain, which hit the screens in 1975.

This movie is about Tony and Tia again who return to California for a vacation after spending long time in Witch Mountain with their new friends and family practicing their supernatural powers of telekinesis and telepathy. Their uncle leaves them at Rose Bowl Stadium where Tony and Tia get separated.

Tony is kidnapped by Dr. Victor Gannon, who sees him using his powers, and wants to use the powers to test his mind control technology. Tony ends up being under the control of Dr. Gannon and it is left up to Tia to rescue her brother and also foil the plans of evil Dr. Gannon.

In her bid to find Tony and spoil Dr. Gannon's plans, Tia is helped by a group of people known as the Earthquake Gang.

Return from Witch Mountain has more characters as compared to its earlier version and the storyline is also broader. It does have its share of plots and destructions with villains playing their evil selves. Both the good and bad are differentiated nicely. The movie is full of happenings and incidences that make it very enjoyable. You cannot say that Return from Witch Mountain is a dull and boring movie.
